Delete your account

You can delete your FormBae account and personal data at any time, and you do not need the app installed to ask for it. This page explains both routes, what is removed, and the small amount we are required to keep.

From inside the app

Open FormBae and go to Profile, then Delete account.
Confirm the request. Your account is deactivated straight away, you are signed out, and your data is removed by the FormBae team.
This is the fastest route and the one to use if you can still sign in, because your identity is already established.

If you cannot sign in

Message FormBae support on WhatsApp at +91 99616 34121 from the mobile number your account uses.
Say that you want your account and personal data deleted. You do not need to give a reason.
The request must come from the number on the account. We cannot act on a request to delete somebody else's account, because there would be no way to tell an owner from anyone who knows their number.
Your request goes to the FormBae team, who close the account and remove its data. We will confirm when that is done.

What gets deleted

Your account, name and mobile number.
Your profile: age, gender, height, weight and body measurements.
Your workout plans, completed workouts, check-ins and progress history.
Your diet diary, including any food photos you added.
Messages between you and your coach.
The device token used to send you reminders, so notifications stop immediately.

What we keep, and why

Payment and invoice records, which tax and accounting law requires us to retain. These are kept for the period the law sets and are not used for anything else.
Aggregated and anonymised statistics that cannot be traced back to you.
Administrative logs needed for security and fraud investigation, retained only as long as that purpose lasts.

What happens to your mobile number

Your number is released from the deleted account as soon as the request is made.
That means you can sign up again with the same number and start fresh, rather than being handed your old account back.
A new account started this way shares nothing with the old one.

Deleting the app is not the same as deleting your account

Removing FormBae from your phone stops it running, but leaves your account and data with us. Use one of the two routes above if you want the data gone.
